His first design. These are from the 'first draft' of Randal's Friends. Most likely from 2018, though it may be from before that...Not too different from the official Nyon. It's a more of an overall style change than an alter in the design. Still very cute. m. I'm thinking Nyon and Nyen's personalities were switched, since Nyon seems sort of ...unhinged here~~~~~~~>, whereas Nyen takes on a bit of canon Nyon's passive persona. Not to mention Nyon's smiling, which he usually cannot do. And it seems the parts in their hair were switched as well...!! if you look closely, just maybe... I wonder what was going through cap's head as he created and developed these characters and their dynamics.. It's unfortunate Nyen's first design was so offensive. Both their depictions in this image are very offensive, it's a bummer, there's a lot in this art. Very grateful that he changed it. I find it interesting that Nyen would have spoken spanish. Cap's interest in various languages is apparent, and I suppose he dropped this one,, i love how cap draws their eyes like they're irritated (´• _ •`) much love to this betanyon

(nostalgic reasons)
probably my favourite design of our beloved catman... i love 'The Nutcracker' ballet and score, 'The Nutcracker and the Mouse King' fairy tale, and nutcrackers in general, i think they are very cool, and capture a nostalgic feeling. though this could be said about a majority of captain's media. there's only a few arts of captainhowdie with this imagery in it, but they are all awesome...makes my heart happy ^^ CATNUTCRACKER
